Painting, once seen as a window onto the world, is reimagined here as something far less stable—and far more intriguing. The artists in the presentation challenge what painting can be, pushing it beyond image into material, space, and perception.

In the main space, a first wall is dedicated to works by Bernd Ribbeck, conceived as a retrospective, and in dialogue with key works by Sylvie Fleury, Gerwald Rockenschaub, John Armleder, Hans-Peter Feldmann, Charlotte Posenenske, Fredrik Værslev, and Salvo.
